Welcome, I’m Lisa…
I am a yoga facilitator, educator and practitioner. I teach movement, yoga asanas (postures), meditation, pranayama (breathing) and mindfulness. I care deeply about finding a balance between being and doing, movement and stillness, strength and fluidity, and how to find the ease and the steadiness within our bodies.
Classes involve gentle movement, no forceful adjustments. An opportunity to tune into and calm the nervous system, release tension in the body and explore the change we can bring to the body, mind and breath.
I care passionately about making yoga accessible and adaptable for everyone. Incorporated into my teaching is clinical somatics which I find fascinating in regaining freedom of movement and alleviating musculoskeletal pain. Clinical somatic exercises are slow, gentle and therapeutic.
Having completed my yoga teacher training with the Inner Yoga Trust in 2018, I have sought out many teachers to study with who have authenticity and are innovative. Their wisdoms and teachings I continue to share with my students.
I am based in Hampshire, in the UK where I run classes for students at all levels in a relaxed, positive atmosphere.
